The Dalai Lama Trust is honored to announce the recipients of the Dalai Lama Trust Postgraduate Scholarship for 2025.
This scholarship is reserved for students who were previously supported through the Dalai Lama Trust Undergraduate Scholarship and now aspire to continue their academic journey at the postgraduate level. Established to assist students facing financial challenges, the program reflects our ongoing commitment to nurturing dedicated, capable, and morally grounded individuals as they advance in their higher education.
The continuation of this initiative is made possible through the generous contributions of the public. We extend our deepest gratitude to all who have donated to the Dalai Lama Trust. Your support sustains a wide range of charitable endeavors, including this scholarship, which is traditionally awarded to five postgraduate students each year. For 2025, the selection committee has been pleased to extend the award to 16 outstanding students from among 31 applicants.
Following the close of the application period, submissions were carefully reviewed. Duplicate and ineligible entries were removed, while the remaining applications were organized and documented in our scholarship database. The compiled information was then presented to the selection committee, whose members made their final selection with careful thought and discernment.
We warmly congratulate the students who have been selected for this year’s award and wish you every success as you pursue advanced study and future service in your respective fields. To those who were not chosen this year, we hold the highest regard for your dedication and aspirations, and we sincerely wish you success as you continue to seek out new opportunities to realize your goals.
Selected students who may wish to decline the award—such as those who have accepted another scholarship—are requested to kindly inform our scholarship desk at the earliest by writing to scholarship@dalailama.com.
